How to Install Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick / 10.04 Lucid

Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) is a powerful Music Creation tool for Linux, looks similar to FL Studio. LMMS that allow you to produce music with your computer. This includes the creation of melodies and beats, the synthesis and mixing of sounds, and arranging of samples. You can have fun with your MIDI-keyboard and much more; all in a user-friendly and modern interface.

Install Linux MultiMedia Studio in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick / 10.04 Lucid Using PPA

Run following commands in the terminal window (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tobydox/lmms
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lmms
